The Social Life Development Association (SOYGED) is a rights-based civil society organization that works to build a more just, equitable, and inclusive society.
It combats social inequalities, supports the empowerment of disadvantaged individuals, and promotes solidarity and active citizenship.
To produce human rights-based, accessible, and empowering services so that every individual can participate in social life equally and with dignity.
Creating a diverse, solidarity-based, and inclusive society.
We run social, cultural, educational, and environmental programs that cater to different age groups and needs.
We develop projects in many areas, from education to social services, culture and arts to environmental sustainability, with national and international partners.
The power of solidarity grows only when we work together. As a volunteer, you can contribute to social change with your skills and time; you can help our projects reach more people.
Children's Workshop Volunteer
The first day I arrived, seeing a few shy children at the end of the workshop laughing and hugging each other was a powerful motivation for me. Here, I feel like I'm not just ‘someone who helps,’ but a real part of the process. After every workshop, I see again that change actually begins with small steps.
Social Media and Communications Volunteer
I thought I wouldn't be able to spend much time in the field because I work full-time, but I was able to contribute as a volunteer in social media and content production at SOYGED. Even though I'm behind the scenes, knowing that I'm indirectly touching the life of a child, a woman, or a young person makes me feel even more connected to this process.
Field and Event Volunteer
For many years, I only observed civil society work from afar, but I became involved through SOYGED. At an event held in the neighborhood, an elderly participant said, “You made us feel that we are not alone.” This meant a lot to me. Through volunteering, I met new people and learned to see my city in a different light. Now I spend my free time in a supportive environment that makes me feel good.
